Most universities or other educational facilities make use of traditional microscope systems to teach students everything about cells, tissues, and to perform experiments. However, traditional microscopy still has a few shortcomings that can be overcome through the use of live-cell imaging in educational programs. In this video, we will take a closer look at the specific shortcomings of traditional microscopy and how the Lux2 can bridge this gap. This will be further substantiated by explaining the unique selling points of the Lux2 and the consequential advantages for both students and teachers. In summary, these advantages are that students will be better engaged, develop a better understanding of dynamic processes and teachers will benefit from the simplicity of discussing and elaborating the data.
