This review article summarizes the progress of confirming the therapeutic role of adipose tissue (AT) components in canine regenerative medicine. The CytoSMART Lux2 was used to ensure successful isolation of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells from AT, thus highlighting the use of live-cell imaging in a standard protocol of AT disassociation and SVF extraction. All in all, this review article aims to raise awareness of the importance of research on cellular components of AT in the direction of regenerative therapy in canines.
